Mr. Brown, a native of Dallas, has over twenty-five years of building and construction management experience. His vision and mission are to deliver a premier one-stop design & build service which includes leveraging his financial partnerships for his clients. A few of the services offered include but not limited to: property selection, assessment, acquisition of individual sites to sub-division development, as well as coordinating with expert architects and engineers to design the custom plans. His God-given passion consist of; empowering communities through restoration and wealth retention, improving senior housing, as well as mentoring and providing trades to the youth. Kevin is one of the most innovative, charismatic, trailblazers in the development industry. He founded Simply Custom in 2005 expanding his custom home business to include commercial real estate construction and development. 

Mrs. Brown-Sneed, a Dallas native, is a pioneer in the design, architecture and construction project manager arena. She served the City of Dallas for nearly three decades before retiring as Facilities Manager, head of the Capital Improvements Division of Dallas Public Library. She was the first African American woman to serve as project manager for the architectural division of the City of Dallas Public Works Department.  She received acknowledgments from presiding Mayor and two Councilmembers at her retirement celebration.  During her tenure, she managed a $55M budget. She participated in establishing a 10-year Library Facilities Master Plan, which recommended a $144M budget to address new, replacements and major renovations of Dallas Public Libraries. Of the proposed budget, City Council adopted $101.5M and presented it to voters over a 2-bond program election cycle (2003/$55M and 2006/$46M). These projects have been completed for current and future citizens of Dallas to enjoy for many years to come. Her most esteemed work was restoration of Dallas' historical gems such as the Hall of State building at Fair Park and the former Dallas Convention Center. While her most rewarding was building new libraries in the southern sector and throughout the City of Dallas. Mrs. Brown-Sneed's creativity and knowledge is immeasurable asset to the team.  She continues in retirement to serve and make her community extremely proud. Jeannette joined Simply Custom in as a partner in 2006and has been instrumental in the launch of the commercial construction and development platform as well as the custom home design.

  

Mrs. Howunna Johnson, a proud Dallas native, brings over 20 years of operational and financial leadership to her role as Chief Operations Officer at Simply Custom Dev. LLC. Throughout her career, she has held officer-level roles with several Fortune 100 corporations and supported operations for some of the world’s largest financial institutions.

As Vice President at Citibank, Mrs. Johnson traveled extensively across the United States, serving as a corporate representative to mitigate risk and minimize exposure on behalf of the organization. Her expertise spans banking, risk management, litigation strategy, vendor oversight, and executive-level operations.

In 2019, she transitioned from Corporate America to the private sector and joined Simply Custom, where she oversees operations and client engagement from pre-construction through project completion. With a degree in Business Administration, she dedicates significant time to mentoring and strategizing with internal teams and external clients—equipping business leaders with tools for financial literacy, project planning, and long-term growth.

Mrs. Johnson is deeply rooted in her Christian faith, which informs her leadership, work ethic, and commitment to servant leadership. She believes that integrity, stewardship, and purpose-driven service are the foundation of meaningful work and lasting impact.

Having grown up immersed in real estate, construction, and development through her family's legacy, she has embraced this new chapter fully—bridging financial expertise with industry passion. She is also an advocate for adolescent development and financial education, actively supporting community-focused initiatives that empower the next generation.
